Caroline Rodriguez is a born and raised Chicago-based independent filmmaker. Caroline’s work spans and subverts several genres, from romantic comedy to horror, using each to explore and uplift different aspects of Latinx stories.

Caroline graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Emerson College in 2020, and has since produced, written, and directed a variety of independent short films that have screened at festivals across the world. “Displaced” (2020) and “Chismosas” (2022) are available to watch online.

“Bad People” (2024) and “What Went Wrong” (2024) are currently in post production. Caroline’s latest project, “Haunted Halls,” is expected to start production in summer 2024.
